Foster’s Group

10 years ago, Anne Tesch devised and implemented an ambitious national program to change perceptions about beer and raise its profile on behalf of Carlton and United, a division of the Foster’s Group.

The program, which Tesch Communications continues to operate, puts beer back on the table as a dining beverage and encourages non-committed beer drinkers to choose the beverage more often, particularly with a meal.

The identification and management of sponsorships, where beer with food is a natural, are crucial
to the program’s success.

Ocean Spray Cranberries

Tesch Communications conducted the national public relations strategy for Ocean Spray. Issues relating to the cranberry heritage, health issues, especially in light of recent cranberry research, as well as the significance of taste are crucial to the program for which strong media relationships and working with health partners were most important.

A major mailout to 33,000 health professionals across Australia, resulting in more than a 10 per cent response, was recently co-ordinated by Tesch Communications.

Kiwifruit Industry of New Zealand
The consultancy manages the Australia-wide marketing communications strategy for KETA (New Zealand Kiwifruit Exporters to Australia). The public relations activity, advertising and promotional campaigns devised by the consultancy continue to be crucial to the successful sales and popularity of New Zealand kiwifruit in Australia.

The Melbourne Cup

Tesch Communications transformed the handover of the Melbourne Cup to the VictoriaRacing Club into a major event, a highlight in the social calendar of Melbourne Cup Week.

Initiated as part of the marketing communications program to raise the profile of the 5-star hotel, Le Meridien at Rialto, the event created, successfully gave the hotel a greater Melbourne presence by making the hotel the "home" of the Melbourne Cup. It continues to heighten the image of the makers of the Cup, Hardy Brothers Jewellers.
